Fun Story: A few years ago I went on a mission trip to Macedonia. My group spent the majority of our time serving the Roma that live in Skopje. During our time there we had several “salon days” where we did manicures, pedicures, hair, and makeup on the Roma women. Long story short, my friend Heather and I spent 3 days painting glitter nails/tips. I had kind of sworn off glitter tips after that… but clearly I lied. =)
I was wanting to do another Valentines-ish nail look (see last weeks here), but I think this ended up being more of a party nail look. Or maybe confetti nail look? What do you think? For these nails I used another one of my Happy Hands polishes! This glitter is called Flowers on the Highway and I LOVE it so much. I wore it over Essie’s In Stitches. This ended up being such a happy combination!

It’s about time for some glitter, don’t you think? Isn’t this polish gorgeous?! My friend Kristi made it! She the owner of the etsy shop Happy Hands Nail Polish. I received a few of her polishes for Christmas and I think this color, I Am Jack’s Broken Heart, is my favorite. It’s described as a bruise color (are you catching the Fight Club references?) with purple and turquoise sparkles. Opaque in 2 coats + easy application.
